This has been quite the year for me so far. After falling out of the top ten on the leader board I find myself right back in the mix after a victory at “All Aboard.” Earilier in the year I had the privledge to represent Beyond Wrestlng in CHIKARA’s “Young Lions Cup X” tournament. Although I didn’t win the cup I left with a greater appreciation of the sport and know I left an lasting impression on the Chikarmy. Sooner than later I will return to a CHIKARA ring. I am a smarter competitor thanks to my experience at YLCX.

Speaking of returning to the ring, I was surprised to witness the return of one of Beyond Wrestling’s trailblazing atheletes: Chris Dickinson. I was even more shocked to see him assault TJ Marconi while I watching the remainder of Beyond Wrestling’s New York debut event from the crowd. Dickinson was not shy about speaking his mind and he bashed the direction Beyond Wrestling has taken since the last time he competed. He expects to pick up right where he left off.

I’ll gladly admit that guys like Chris Dickinson, Eric Corvis, Team Beyond, and Jefferson Saint were the guys that drew me into Beyond Wrestling. Thanks to their contributions, what started off as an underground project has becomes one of the most watched wrestling promotions on the planet. Wrestlers from across the globe have traveled to our events to test their skills against others who are just as hungry. I am more then grateful for the opportunities that Beyond Wrestling has given me. I have been granted the platform to compete to the best of my ability against the best talent on the independent scene. Beyond Wresting has made me a better wrestler.

I take great pride in working for Beyond Wrestling and I will proudly defend the honor of Beyond Wrestling anywhere I go. If that means crossing paths with Chris Dickinson at the place he helped to put on the map then so be it. I’m not afraid of a disgrunted wrestler who wants what has been taken away from him handed back on a silver platter. I have had to work for everything I have ever achieved despite countless setbacks. I am nobody’s welcome back mat and will gladly remind Chris Dickinson what it feels like to be in a Beyond Wrestling ring once again.

Be prepared to be tested, Chris.

One of the big unknowns going into Beyond Wrestling’s “Charade Charity Chowdown” this Sunday, November 4th, is who Dave Cole will pick as his tag partner when he squares off against JT Dunn and Mark Shurman. Not too long ago, “The Juice” and “The Sure Thing” would have been accompanied by Jon Harder – ranting and raving about “professionalism” by the apron. With the disbanding of the Professional Revolution at “All Aboard” a few weeks ago (because of Jon Harder once again sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong), Dunn and Shurman are going to be on their own. Thanks to a history of dupes, double-crosses, and deception, the list of people looking to get a piece of Dunn and Shurman could read like a “who’s-who” of the Beyond Wrestling roster.

Let’s go all the way back to last November’s “Crises Precipitates Change” studio taping to see where some of this bad blood originated. Jon Harder and JT Dunn collaborated in tricking the easily persuaded Steve “The Turtle” Weiner into thinking he needed a manager for his match later that night against Dunn. Weiner, being none the wiser, was helpless as Harder turned on him in favor of Dunn. It was that night when Dunn joined the ranks of Harder’s burgeoning faction.

The controversy surrounding the Professional Revolution carried on into 2012 at the “Off The Grid” live event in February. After losing to the Super Smash Bros., Harder’s faction proceeded to interfere at the conclusion of the main event match between Dan Barry and Johnny Cockstrong’s later in the evening. What followed was nothing short of a mugging at the hands of the Professional Revolution. The big surprise here was the debut of the Revolution’s newest disciple, “The Sure Thing” Mark Shurman. The chaos continued throughout the weekend, with the newly bolstered squad attacking Dan Barry’s Team TREMENDOUS stable mates, Ken Scampi and Bill Carr.

From that point on, it has been a slow downward spiral for the Professional Revolution. An impromptu grudge match pitting JT Dunn and Mark Shurman against the team of Dan Barry and the former #1 Ranked Johnny Cockstrong resulted in a loss for Harder’s group at the “Burst The Bubble” live event in May. Despite an otherworldly performance by JT Dunn at July’s “Swamp Sessions” live event, the Processional Revolution’s victory was tainted due to the meddlesome Jon Harder. The infighting and hostilities which have plagued to group came to a head at September’s “Armory Amore,” when Dunn demanded the Professional Revolution leave ringside for his match against former mentor Dave Cole. Ignoring his request, Jon Harder weaseled his way back to ringside to claim Dunn’s victory for the Professional Revolution. History will remember “All Aboard” as the end of the Professional Revolution, as the team of JT Dunn, Mark Shurman, Leon St. Giovanni, and Max St. Giovanni lost to Team TREMENDOUS and Tim Hughes in an elimination match, forcing Harder’s faction to disband for once and for all.

With JT Dunn and Mark Shurman now able to forge their own path, this brings us back to the original question: who will Dave Cole pick as his partner? He certainly has quite an array of competitors to choose from. Will he go with Steve Weiner, allowing Turtle to get the revenge against his former friend, JT Dunn? Could we see the return of J-Busta, Dave Cole’s regular tag team partner for a number a years? Perhaps he’ll pick one of the members of Team TREMENDOUS, who surely would love to get in the ring and rub some salt in the wounds from the events that transpired in Deer Park, NY. Needless to say, “The Psychedelic Warrior” Dave Cole has quite the decision to make this Sunday in Bridgewater, MA… if Jon Harder hasn’t already made it for him.

I am currently 2-0 with two victories over Dave Cole in both of those matches – the original 2/3 Falls match at “Burst The Bubble” and the 3/5 Falls rematch at “Swamp Sessions.” I specialize in these types of matches because of my conditioning. I understand how hard it is to beat someone twice in the same match and it motivates me. I know how to work the odds in my favor. This is where my training comes into play.

Corvis, as much as I dislike him, is a hell of wrestler. He’s as sharp as they come in the ring, but my endurance and durability are better. I am going to win because I can take a beating. The longer the match goes, the more and more it will benefit me. This one will have the “big match feel” since the fans in Bridgewater, MA have already seen what I am capable of. I thrive on challenges. Even though I am the winner of the first ever “Tournament For Tomorrow” this could be my biggest match yet. Eric Corvis is someone who built Beyond Wrestling and I love Beyond Wrestling and I will fight for Beyond Wrestling. What Corvis has quickly realized is that he represents the old guard. The #KOA have continued to grow Beyond Wrestling in his absence. At the “Charade Charity Chowdown” I am going to push myself harder then I ever have. I will beat Eric Corvis. I will be one step closer to becoming the #1 ranked wrestler in Beyond Wrestling.

-=Epic=-

I feel like I’m always on Twitter shouting out a new success for my peers. Title won. New booking. New achievement.

That’s well and good….

….just noticing I don’t have a ton of my own to shout for myself, let alone anyone else to do it for me. It especially becomes a bit more glaring when I think about JUST how fragile life can be after the incident with Charade; the very reason we’re gonna be gathering in Bridgewater, MA on Nov 4th.

I’ve put a lot of smiles on faces and made a ton of people smile. However, I find myself haunted. A single thought beating against my skull with the force of a jackhammer. If it all ended today; is that all I gave? No grand match or achievement; just some ha-ha moments and a hairstyle. Nobody’s gonna remember Sugar D: 1st Round Tournament Loser. Or Sugar D: Never Announced Match Wrestler. Or Sugar D: Cheerleader for Classic Aaron Epic Matches.

God, that’s a little annoying to type.

I don’t like how it’s laid out for your boy. I suppose I need to fix that. Soon.

Very soon; before I don’t have any time to change what “legacy” I have.

Tick tock.

Jon Harder finally gets what is coming to him. For WAY too long I have been pestered by this no name, 5th ring post and I have had enough.

What started as Harder stupidly disagreeing with a post I had made, on FACEBOOK no less, has turned into a clusterfuck of wrestlers thinking they had what it takes to take me down.

But let me break it down for you so its easier to understand. I have been at this for 12 years. I have had over a dozen broken bones. I have had several concussions. I have slept in my car, changed in a dirt floor basement while sitting on a bucket, traveled for 5 hours to wrestle on a show and get paid in pizza, and countless other endeavors to earn my title as a professional wrestler. And you, a no name hack of a manager with a 2 bit podcast thought you could walk in, slinging dick and act like you’ve been there. Jon Harder, you are a nobody.

This Saturday, I will walk right into the NYWC Sportatorium, I will mow through your cronies, and I will get my hands on each of your chins. At which point I will make an example out of you. You embody all that is wrong with wrestling. A no-name loser leading a pack of jerkoffs who expect everything to be handed to them. I’ve earned the respect of my peers in Beyond Wrestling, but you haven’t given it to me because of your bullshit revolution.

Plain and Simple. Saturday. Beyond Wrestling. I am going to make an example out of you.

—

These are the two things I have struggled with the most for the past three years in Beyond Wrestling. Roughly a year ago I thought that was finally under control when Mark Angel and I formed The Academy. The focus was found. The direction was to systematically dismantle the Beyond Wrestling roster and sit atop the rankings. This is exactly what we did, until my neck injury came back to haunt me and my in ring career was paused.

I continued to support Mark; never missing a single event, always there to support and assist my “partner”. It was with that assistance that Mark was able to become the Beyond Wrestling points leader, although he will tell a different story. What happened from there leads us to the situation at hand. I created an ego I can no longer control. Mark no longer is a team player, and I will no longer be a Mark Angel cheerleader. So, effective immediately, the Academy of Anatomy is done. I started this, I end it.

At Armory Amore I approached a man dressed in football pads that bares a striking resemblance to Mark Angel and requested a match. To no one’s surprise, Mark will not confess to dressing up in costumes, calling people nerds, or resorting to cheap shots on former partners. I will not accept this disrespect and insult to my intelligence. Mark Angel will not face Nick Talent, so Nick Talent will not face Mr. Touchdown. If you want to play games, Mark…well…you’re riding the wrong wave…

I’ve known Dave for a long time and while I respect his dedication to his craft, the path that the Psychedelic Warrior has taken is a bit troubling. Needless to say, I am not taking this match lightly. Even when Dave doesn’t have his head on straight he is one of the strongest technical wrestlers on the Beyond Wresting roster. When he’s “on” he’s practically unstoppable.

If nothing else, I’ve been able to prove to the likes of Davey Vega that technical ability alone don’t guarantee a win against a competitor like myself. I’m the least conventional wrestler in Beyond Wrestling and it has worked to my advantage. My unique style helped me become the #1 Ranked wrestler on the roster last year. After Julian Starr scored an upset victory over Mark Angel at “Coin-Op Co-Op” at the beginning of September, I find myself once again tied for the top spot in Beyond Wrestling. To the best of my knowledge, Mark Angel isn’t even scheduled to compete at “All Aboard” this weekend after his altercation with Nick Talent at “Armory Amore.”

I am only one win away from one again being the best. Nobody in Beyond Wrestling has ever been able to climb back to the top after being knocked off of that pedestal. It’s been a rough year for me. Now that I’ve been able to put the Submission Squad and RD Evans behind me, I can concentrate on moving up the ranks, and I don’t have far to go. Mark Angel is nothing but a bully. He’s lost the support of his own partners in the Academy Of Anatomy and with a win over Dave Cole this Saturday, he’ll lose his spot to a certain superhero.
